Update AGAIN! We've got brand new beads and necklaces!!! wewt!
UPDATE GUYS!!! So I recently remade my coat! It now fits me more snug in the upper torso, the arms are more accurate because I think they were at bit too baggy before, the bottom hemline is nice and smooooth, I added shoulder pads, I took in the sides, remade the pockets to version two which means nice smooth seams, and I added my new designed Org Tag to the inside liner (but that's a whole other story you'll hear about once Otakon2008 comes closer XD). I also plan on remaking the beads and accessories so they have the pretty little designs on them. hehe. ----
This is a brand new version of this cosplay. I've been reworking this costume since Otakon 2007 which entails new gloves, coat, beaded accessories, pants, wig, colored contacts, and the ever foreboding removal of my eyebrows. Everything above is fashioned by yours truly. Find me on cosplay.com: ELFwings I think the hardest part was re-making my wig from scratch. I recently attended New York Anime Festival 2007 and it was the most questioned article. Let's just keep it short and simple: 2 wigs wefted into one another, dyed, cut, and styled. I think that'll do it.

THIS IS MY FIRST COSPLAY
I crafted the jacket out of Heavy Furniture Vinyl. It is much more difficult to work with than pleather and standard vinyls. But I felt that it was worth it because the texture and flow it has compliments the look we get in cut-scenes. I wax/polish it before each con day as well and made sure to fashion working pockets and full liner. Disclaimer: I had to extend the bottom of my jacket because I wear 6" platforms underneath. Short Elf is Short. But I felt it was the best solution to my problem regardless of the more 'dress-like' appearance it gives off. XD
The accessories I created by hand. And now that the art from 358/2days came out i used it to fabricate the new beads and wheeew they are sexy. ;D
Then there was that wig... This was the first wig I ever touched in my life. I never imagined I would ever wear a wig. But about a year after first styling it I'm at the version you see now. I pretty much already said a good deal about it above.
I plan on making another set of chakram too. All before Otakon 2008. wish me luck.
